~~Perpetual State of Motion~~

More often than not when I take pictures of my girls they end up looking like this because they never seem to hold still!!! /
I don't know why they torture me this way???

Maybe I just need a better, faster camera???
Or more energy so I can keep up?!?!?

Who knows, but whatever it is I hope I can figure out how to take a decent picture soon!

~~~Giggles Gang Winner!!!~~
Winner, winner, chicken dinner!!! I know that was corny, but I had fried chicken for dinner and that is what came to mind.
First Amber mixed up the names and drew: jubilee who said...
"Popping over from SITS to say "hi." My chickadees are a little old for this giveaway, so please give it to someone else if my name gets chosen."
So she mixed up the names some more and drew out: Carrie who said...
"What I LOVE about this product is the fact that my daughter can bang on the computer keys all she wants (like she tries to do EVERY DAY) and it will do things for her!! She would LOVE THIS!!!"
Carrie I can't find an address to send you an email so please send me your address and I will pass it on to Amanda and she will send you out your set of the Giggles Gang software!!
~~Dangly Jiggling Bits or God Please Poke My Eyes Out!~~
We went fishing this past weekend and you can not believe how many icky fishy smelling, slimy things we saw, NO I don't mean the trout! I lost count (or just quit to keep from getting ill) at 4 women laying there in all their glory, not caring who saw what.
Good Lord ladies, watch how you are laying out there on the beach and what might be actually creeping out the sides of your barely there swimsuit! I totally understand that you want to lay there in the spring sun and destroy your skin cells or bake yourself into a nice skin cancer, but must you show the world (my girls and husband specifically) all the things your momma blessed you with?
And for God sakes, if you must show the world your nether regions, could you at least trim the shrubbery so my 4 year old doesn't think you have a puppy for her to play with!
I am no prude, in fact sometimes I am a little perverted, but I don't flash my mommy parts to children and families trying to have a nice leisurely afternoon of picnicking and fishing and I would really appreciate if you would try and refrain from it also.
I have an even better idea for you~~Check out the tanning bed in town, no tan lines, you get your tan much faster and I get out of explaining to my babies that "nice" girls wear clothes that cover their vajayjay since I would prefer them grow up and keep 'em covered.
Lately I have also noticed that men are going back to the short shorts of the 80's- just a word guys DON'T!! There is not much worse than sitting on a bleacher, watching a ball game and turning around to see a whole different "ball game". Ewwwww! I would go on with this subject, but two things stop me: 1- It makes me throw up in my mouth a bit and 2- CK at Bad Mommy Moments has a much better take on it. I wanted to repost it here, but couldn't contact her so you will just click here and read it, but be warned- it may make you throw up a little!
~~Small Talk Six 4/25~~
Today's Small Talk Six is 6 things other people do that make you personally uncomfortable. Here is my list:
1. When someone I am with or nearby me treats a waitress/server bad it makes me feel bad for the person being treated badly and embarrassed for the person giving the treatment. Do I say something or let it go? I just really don't know what to do except tip big to make up for it somehow!
2. When grown adults talk baby talk to each other. If your gonna do it, stay home and save the rest of us from having to hear your "little wittle convo" with you "lamby whamy" or "lovey wovey". UURRGGGGGG
3. I feel very uncomfortable when someone I don't know feels the need to touch me while they are talking to me. I am not a touchy person anyway and to have someone who I don't know and haven't a clue where their hands have been really creeps me out.
4. Don't get me wrong, I love a sexy outfit now and again, especially at a club or somewhere like that. And I love to see beautiful people (men & women), but people who are hanging out at Walmart or walking in public places with their boobs, butt or even worse hanging out makes me want to ask them to cover up. See through things are sexy in the bedroom too, but not so much when I am walking through the mall with my kids.
5. I feel really uncomfortable when people feel the need to belittle or "over" correct their children in public. Kids are so impressionable and to embarrass them in front of other people is so wrong. Tell them how you feel, what the consequences will be if they don't stop what they are doing or even take them out to the car and have a "talk" with them or their little butt. BUT please don't call them stupid or other demeaning names or hit them in front of me. I feel like I should tell people to stop what they are doing, but I don't want to step in where it is not any of my business or tell anyone else how to raise their kids so I just try not to watch and feel bad for the kid. Oh, and hope they grow up to know better.
6. Last for this topic I guess I would say is having to talk in public. I always feel like I am going to screw up and say something wrong or burp or something else equally as embarrassing. When I am in a group I try to stay on the fringe of things and keep my mouth shut. UNLESS I am in a group I know well and then you can't shut me the hell up!!!
Name Bubbles Giveaway
Recently I recieved a package in the mail from with a great product in it. It included labels with my daughter's names on them that stick to pretty much everything (I say pretty much because I don't know if they will stick to everything, but they worked on everything I stuck them on). So anyway, I stuck one on Amber's backpack which she promptly left on the bus, but the driver called me and I went to pick it up at the school bus station. Score 1 for us. I also put the cute little feet stickers in Libby's new clogs, that cost more than I should have paid, but what the heck they are adorable. Less than a week later she left them by the swings at the park. When we went back to get them another child had them on and when we asked for them she said they were her's. I asked her mother to have her take one off and yeah, you know it, Libby's name was right there. They had no choice but to admit they were ours and we got them back. Score 2 for us.
Now I have only had these labels a couple weeks and they have saved me over $100. I now have them on EVERYTHING that leaves my house!! offers several different kinds of labels. They have dishwasher safe, laundry safe, water poof, and water resistant stickers. They come in 9 diferent packages incudng the Day Care package and the Camp package. ~~Blog Fart Fridays~~
Jaci(pronounce that Jackie or she will eat your face off... or maybe she said cry a little) over at Ravings of a Mad Housewife came up with a blog farts idea. She describes it as this: Blog Farts – noun. Def: Crappy ideas that are too short to make a real blog post, but when combined, join forces to make one unified, albeit half assed, post. see also: memes, surveys. These are mine for this week.
1. Someone walked into my house yesterday in the middle of the day with my dogs barking and stole my daughter's safe with all her gold coins, cash from her husband's inheritance (way too much money to keep at home in my opinion, but who am I to judge?), all of their prescriptions and a check for a remodel job he had just finished (for another outrageous amount of money). Who has that kind of balls??? Obviously since they left the 2 laptops and the flat screen TV sitting there, they knew what they were after which means they are a "friend" of family member. That goes to a whole new level of ick!! All I can say is I hope the insurance pulls through and Karma is a bitch!!
2. Why is it that no matter how many times I sing my heart out in the car, I still sound like ass or maybe something like a wart hog in pain or heat? I can belt out Kid Rock's All Summer Long like no tomorrow, but if he heard me he would surely dig his ear drums out with a crochet hook.
3. Speaking of Kid Rock, why does everyone think I am a nut job for liking him?? I always go for the "bad boys" and the rugged type, he is 6 years younger than me (our birthdays are one day short of 6 years apart) and happily married, but I would jump right in that 59 drop top blood red Cadillac with him and be off west to be a cowboy with him in a heart beat. Yeah, like it would ever happen, but a girl can dream right??
4. I think there is a higher power that has something against me exercising. My very well stocked exercise room has turned into a storage room since my storage room has turned into a bedroom so that is out. I thought every day all week I would go out and walk around the neighborhood or the high school track since the weather has been in the 60's and 70's all week, yet something came up every night after work and I couldn't go, but today when I have all the time in the world it is rainy and the wind is blowing like a tornado is coming in.
5. Why do all the channels I like to watch show the same shows over and over and over? There is well over 100 episodes each of CSI, Law & Order, First 48, Paranormal and other things I like, but they show the same 10-15 ones over and over until I can repeat them word for word. I have horrible insomnia and they are the only shows I like to watch all night, but I am really getting tired of it. Does anyone have a suggestion of something to watch in the wee hours of morning?
6. And last but not least this week, why will my girls pick every tulip, daffodil and every other "real" flower in my yard, but they leave all the dandelion's? They are so proud when they bring them in to me I can't yell at them, but I just can't get through to them no matter what I try to explain. Oh well, precious moments and all that jazz......
Skoy Cloth Giveaway
The SKOY cloth is a fabulous, absorbent, biodegradable and natural multi-use cloth. Our re-usable earth friendly cloth is perfect in your kitchen, bathroom, and on most surface areas in your home or office. SKOY cloth can be used in place of your sponge, wash cloth or paper towels.It is a European made product and 100% biodegradable because it is made from a natural cotton and wood-based cellulose pulp. SKOY cloth is a chlorine-free product using water-based colors and inks. After an independent composting test, SKOY cloth broke down completely within 5 weeks.
The SKOY cloth is a durable product due to the reusability factor and can last months. Using a SKOY cloth is equivalent to using 15 rolls of paper towels in an average home. With the high cost of paper towels, at least $2 a roll, SKOY cloth is the obvious choice for your wallet and the environment.
The SKOY cloth has an absorption factor of 15x its own weight. As a result, producing the most superior cloth product available. Imagine using 15 sheets of good-quality paper towels at once… This is how a wet SKOY cloth will feel in your hand.
The SKOY cloth is long-lasting because of the wash ability feature. It dries quickly, so it is not a breeding ground for bacteria. Have you ever used your sponge, then smelled your hand and it reeked of horrible bacteria? That will never happen again if you microwave your SKOY cloth regularly. It is also dishwasher and washer/dryer safe. Cleaning your SKOY cloth will keep it healthy and germ-free. The cool and unique designs will make cleaning fun!
How long does a SKOY last?
Since SKOY is reusable and washable it can last a very long time, some people still use them after a year. A normal life cycle of a SKOY cloth starts in the kitchen to wipe countertops and table tops. After using the SKOY for a week or two in the kitchen, it can be renewed in the washer and “downgraded” for indoor cleaning such as floors, bathrooms, etc. After a few months in this stage, being washed a couple of times, the SKOY can then be used for outdoor messes, such as wiping patio furniture as well as for garage use. This is the great thing with SKOY, it can be used over and over again.
Michelle from the SKOY company was kind enough to send me a sample and let me tell you, it is a great product!! I cleaned my whole kitchen with it and it still looks almost new. She also sent me a color sample pack that I am passing on to one of my readers. To enter go to the SKOY site and have a look around. Come back and tell me what your favorite thing is about this product.
Extra entries:
Happy Green Bee Giveaway
Mari from Happy Green Bee sent me a pair of leggins that are about the cutest thing I have seen in kids clothing in a long time. They are made from organic cotton which is great for wear. This is a quote from their site: "With the frenzy of toy recalls last yearparents have started asking questions. Are any of their children's toys safe? What about their kid's bedding? Their clothes? Sure, lead-laden toys should obviously be out of a child's reach, but it's time to look more closely at all the things our children eat, touch, feel and wear in their everyday lives. Even 'conventional' cotton, once considered the natural fiber of choice, is no longer safe for our children. Organic cotton, on the other hand, is healthy for all our planet's creatures, from children and wildlife to farm and factory workers. Organic cotton is especially great for infants and children. Whereas pesticide and chemically-treated clothing traps heat and prevents skin from absorbing adequate moisture—often causing rashes and eczema on sensitive skin—organic cotton is natural and breathable. Children with allergies particularly benefit, as organic cotton does not have the residual toxic residues that linger on conventional cotton. Even those without sensitive skin find organic cotton more comfortable and kid-friendly. The longer fibers stretch as children grow."
Check out some of my favorites:
They really have some cute things and you can't beat going organic, especially on Earth Day!! Mari has generously offered one of my readers a pair of their color and size choice. To enter go to Happy Green Bee and have a look around. Come back and tell me one of your favorite things that they carry or a fact about the company.
2. Blog about them and link back to this post
You can enter all in one comment because I will be drawing names the old fashion way!
~~My Daughter and the Answering Machine~~
Frequently when Amber calls my office I am not there and my voice mail picks up. I am not sure she completely understands the idea of voice mail because this is what I hear every time:
Me: Hi, this is Trina with Utah State Adult Services. I am not in my office at this time, but if you will leave your name, a short message and a number where you can be reached I will call you back as soon as possible.
Amber: "Mom, you know me, this is Amber you can hear it is me. I know you are there so why don't you ever answer this thing? Call me back, you know the number. And that will be all!"
She says the "That will be all" part with all the authority that a 6 year old can muster up, like I have been dismissed or something and it cracks me up every time. I have let everyone in my office listen to it and they all bust up. I wish I knew a way to put it on here somehow so you could all get a good laugh too.
I think she really believes that I am listening to her or something, who knows, I just know she is way to cute!!!
Not Me Monday
Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
1. I did not have to spend $50 to get the "temporary- 6-10 washes" pink hair color out of my hair because it seemed to have decided to be permanent no matter how many times I washed it.
2. I did not cry like a little baby when I had to tell the vet to put our puppy down last week and then totally pretend I had allergies when someone at work asked me why my eyes were all red. I did not hate fibbing about it so I wouldn't feel like a cry baby.
3. I did not relentlessly tease my hubby about falling asleep during EVERTHING he watches and sarcastic and rudely sweetly offer to wake him up during this weeks Deadliest Catch episode and then fall asleep 2 minutes before it started.
4. I did not drink over 15 Dr Pepper's this week after having given caffeine up for lent, thus I did not spend all week in a state of buzzedness!(Yes that is a word, I just made it so zip it!)
5. I did not get stuck in traffic on the freeway on the way home from work after drinking at least 4 of the above said Dr Pepper's and totally wet my pants trying to get in the house and to the bathroom when I got home.
6. I did not take the girls fishing at the reservoir yesterday and forget the sunscreen. I also didn't make the assumption that we would be fine for a little while and now have legs the color of lobsters that feel like they have been in the fires of hell and are swollen so bad I can't put pants on.
What did y'all do or not do this past week?
~~Small Talk Six~~
The ladies of Momdot are at it again with a new weekly meme called Small Talk Six. Every Saturday a new topic is announced and you respond to each topic with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 photos, or 6 paragraphs, whatever your heart desires. You can check out the Small Talk Six announcement to see all of the pre-scheduled topics for 2009. Don’t forget to stop by and see this weeks responses at MomDot and link up your own.
Here is my list, at least what I think it would be, after I actually got them and started taking care of them I am sure it would change!!
1.White Tiger. How awesome would it be to be taking my tiger on a walk around the neighborhood? I think the stray dogs that poop on my lawn might stay away too!
2.Next would be a baby Orangutan. Don't know if I would like it so much after it grew up, but boy are they cute when they are babies!
3.My third choice would be an elephant. Riding it around the block would be great, cleaning up after it wouldn't be so good. But if I could afford to have one, I could afford to hire a little guy to clean up the dung for me!
4.Chimpanzee would be my next pick. They are so cute and extremely smart. I have heard they mind better than kids most of the time.
5.I have always loved Bull Mastiffs and Chihuahuas. Kind of strange to have both ends of the size spectrum, but the ones we have get along very well and usually the Chihuahua is the boss.
6.My last choice would be a baby Polar Bear. Again, I don't know if I would like it so much when it grew up, but the babies are adorable!!
~~Blog Farts~~
Jaci over at Ravings of a Mad Housewife came up with a blog farts idea. She describes it as this: Blog Farts – noun. Def: Crappy ideas that are too short to make a real blog post, but when combined, join forces to make one unified, albeit half assed, post. see also: memes, surveys. These are mine for this week.
1. Why is it that before Thanksgiving is even over the stores have Christmas stuff out and before Christmas is done there is Valentines things on the shelf. I hate that all the holidays have become so commercial.
2. How can people read about the chemicals in illegal drugs, especially meth and then use it? People please, would you eat a rat poison sandwich and then drink Drano for a after dinner cocktail? Why on earth would you ingest or smoke something that eats your face off and makes you look 20 years older than you are?
3. Why is it that when I go out to eat with my daughters at the buffet place, they can march their skinny asses up there a dozen times and nobody gives them a second look, yet myself, being a bigger person (not HUGE, but bigger) gets crusty looks like I am going to eat all the food when I only go up once?
4.I work 4 days a week, 10 hours a day so I have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. Every week I have the best plans about getting all of the laundry and housework done on Friday so I have 2 days to relax, BUT every week I get on Blogger and promise myself I will read a couple blogs and the next thing I know it is afternoon. Why do I have no self control? Why is everyone so interesting? Does anyone know where I can find a Bloggers Anonymous meeting?
5. And last for this week, does anyone really think I am going to have 11 years of bad luck because I don't forward a bazillion retarded emails every week telling me something bad will happen if I don't send it to 10 people? And will my wishes really not come true if I don't forward it in the next 3 minutes?
Tuesday, April 14, 2009
I have had a lot of people email me about Zariah so I thought I would tell you all a little bit about her.
Zariah is my granddaughter, she lives in Heaven. She was born November 12, 2007 and at birth was not breathing and then lost a heartbeat. The medical team worked on her for 11 minutes with CPR and finally got her going. She scared us all out of our minds! After we all started breathing again we started taking pictures of her and didn't stop until her death 2 1/2 months later.
Zariah was (well maybe that should be is???) a beautiful baby! She was so sweet and cuddly even as a newborn. She never cried, she ate great and her favorite place was laying on someones chest being held. At almost 3 weeks old she started to cry and vomit her formula. At first we thought she just had a upset tummy, happens a lot so we were not alarmed. We gave her a little pedialite and watched her through the night, she never did get a fever so we kept thinking her little tummy was just upset and maybe she had some gas because she was curling up her body in obvious pain.
The next day we decided she needed to be taken to the ER so we went to the hospital just south of us. They took some blood and said they would get back to us, they also thought she was just a little gassy. All day she cried and we just could not console her. It got to the point that we felt she was in too much pain and something else HAD to be wrong! That evening we took her to another hospital just to the north of us and they drew more blood and then did a ultrasound and said they felt she had appendicitis and they wanted her sent to Primary Children's Hospital for surgery because she was so small.
So on the night of December 5, 2007 (my husbands birthday~ that really sucked!) she was taken to Salt Lake. At Primary Children's they decided to draw even more blood and were assured that the baby had not been abused in any way to cause her discomfort the doctor came in to do a CAT Scan before taking her to surgery. After those tests were done the doctor told us that she didn't have anything wrong with her appendix, but that he was admitting her to the NICU because they thought she had some kind of blood disorder. We had my brother in law come and give her a blessing and we felt it helped as she did perk up a little the next day.
During the next few days while they decided what to do and tried to get a biopsy on her tiny body her abdomen grew so big, it looked like she was pregnant. FINALLY they decided to take her into surgery and do an exploratory to see what they could figure out. After surgery she came back to the NICU with a HUGE bandage over her tummy and the doctor told us that the acids in her stomach had been so bad that her stomach and intestines were too swollen to put back inside her so they were outside of her body in a pouch under that bandage. From that point on we could not hold her anymore which was one of the hardest things about her being there, no way to comfort her. She also started filling her diapers with blood and throwing up blood so they thought the acids were causing more issues for her and she was given a lot of blood to keep her alive. They finally decided that she had developed ulcers from her medications and that was causing the blood loss so they gave her a different kind of medication that helped it for a while.
After 2 more surgeries the surgeon told us that she had a Kapisoform Endothelioma that started in her pancreas, but was quickly moving to take over her kidneys, intestines, bladder and that she would need chemotherapy and radiation to give her any chance of living. We had another blessing for her and put her in the surgeon and God's hands (my sister's father in law came to do this blessing and he brought a man I didn't know with him, I found out later that he was made the new president of the LDS church, how cool is that???)
I usually don't talk about religion because my family has many different religions in it and it usually ends up in an argument of some kind, but the members of my family that are LDS and the rest of us all believe in God and we feel that our prayers, fasting and blessings made it possible for us to have a little time to spend with Zariah.
For the next week she went once a day over to Huntsman Cancer Center for her chemo and radiation. She got so sick, her platelets dropped dramatically and she had to be given blood transfusions several times a day for weeks.
She had a few more minor surgeries and at one time her heart stopped in surgery and another time her lung collapsed, but she kept holding on.
She was on so much morphine to keep her comfortable that she could hardly stay awake, but when she was awake she would look at you with these big beautiful eyes that seemed to be so wise and we all felt she was communicating the best way she could. Since her first surgery she had been on a breathing tube and couldn't make any sounds, but just having her stare so intently at us, we knew she was having some good contact. She kept blowing out IV sites so she was taken into surgery again to have a main line put in and after that we could at least hold her foot or hand without hurting her. She got an infection that caused her white count to go sky high and they couldn't figure out what it was from so back into surgery she went and they found a staff infection. Through all this she hung in like a trooper, smiling with her eyes whenever she would wake up and see one of us there!
The chemo and radiation were given a low chance of working well, but we held out hope for the 2 weeks after that at the next scan she would show signs of improvement. Unfortunately they doctor did not give us good news. Her final scan showed that the tumor had overtaken most everything in her body, including her lungs and if she was taken off the machine she would not be able to maintain her breathing on her own.
On January 25, 2008 most of the family came to the NICU, they moved Zariah into a private room, took us all in there and closed the door. Two of the best nurses ever, Cori and Nicole went in with us, Cori wasn't even on duty and she came in to help us and let me say that having nurses that REALLY cared about our baby and her comfort made all the difference!!
So back to my story, Nicole and Cori worked together to lift Zariah and all the tubes and machines she was hooked up to and let each of us have a turn to hold her again before she passed away. We had a lady from the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep foundation come in and take pictures for us (and she wouldn't even let me pay her! If you ever want to look at donating someplace special I suggest you go to their site!) Cori & Nicole helped us dress her in her Christmas dress and then let Jacki hold her as they unhooked her machines, took out her breathing tube and she took her final breath. Those pictures mean the world to us and I can never thank them enough!! So that is when the angels that had been cradling Zariah for us, took her hand and led her home to Jesus.
It is really hard for me to get into much detail now, but while it was all happening I kept a site on up to date and if anyone would like to read the whole story and see the pictures of our angel just go to and her page name is Zariah111207. The pages are set up to read backwards to you have to go to the end and go back to read them the right way.
See Kai Run Giveaway
Contest Closed
Julie from See Kai Run sent me the cutest shoes to try out for my grandson. We chose the "Jake" style out of the smaller line. They arrived in a cute little box that would be perfect for gift giving and the shoes themselves are absolutely ADORABLE!!!! They fit so well and this baby who hates to have anything on his feet, kept them on so they must be comfortable also!
They have several different styles in tons of colors, the variety is great. The only problem is that with so many to choose from I am going to have to get a new pair every week. Good thing is that they are affordable and I can budget in to get all the ones we want!
Now for the COOL part! Julie has offered to give a pair of these great shoes from either the Smaller or the See Kai Run line to one of my readers. Just follow the directions below to enter and I will chose a winner on May 1st.
Good Luck!!
~~ A Whole Lot Of Sad!!~~
We have had a whole lot of sad at our house this week. Our female puppy was not really growing so we took her to the vet for her 2 week check up a little early and they found a very bad heart murmur that would be fatal eventually so we had to put her down so she wouldn't suffer. It broke the little girls hearts, but we told them that Zariah needed a puppy in Heaven and it helped a little bit.
They got new bikes from the Easter Bunny and Libby took off the end of her toe so she has been hurting too.
So anyway, I was on the internet looking for something fun for them to do to cheer them up and I found this clip. She is really funny so I thought I would share it with all of you. I am listing 2 more really cool giveaways this weekend so check back!! Now without further waiting, meet Mrs. Hughes!
Blog Farts
Jaci over at Ravings of a Mad Housewife came up with a blog farts idea. She describes it as this: Blog Farts – noun. Def: Crappy ideas that are too short to make a real blog post, but when combined, join forces to make one unified, albeit half assed, post. see also: memes, surveys. These are mine!!
1. Why would someone be so stupid as to drop Jaci's blog because she used the word dipshit?? I love the word and plan to use it frequently. I also use asshat, shithead, idiot, A-hole, hobag, and several more so get over it!!
2. Why is it that I can save leftovers for weeks and nobody eats them, but the time I throw them out, everyone yells because they wanted to have them?? They can sit in there until they grow legs and knock on the fridge door to be let out and I swear NOBODY will touch them, but the first damn time I throw them out you would think I threw out a bar of gold or kilo of cocaine because EVERYONE wanted them and I am the jerk that threw out perfectly good food!!
3. Why is it that every time some idiot cuts me off, drives soooooo slow and then finally realizes I am there and lets me by, it is a little Chatty Cathy blabbering away on the cell phone?? And better yet, why is it illegal to shoot them after you see the phone in their hand? No I can't say everyone because some people can drive, put on make-up, read a book, feed a baby and talk on the phone and do it all quite well. BUT I always get behind someone who probably can't even chew gum and walk straight judging by the way they are driving.
4. Are there not bigger things to worry about than if Barbie has a tattoo or is pregnant? Is it really a big deal? OMG what if Ken's "package" is bulging a little on the new Ken doll or GI Joe looks like he has wood? I have heard the stupidest things in the world over these dumb dolls. **NEWS FLASH** Do you people who have issues with it realize there is a war in Iraq and we are losing our soldiers everyday? Do you know that gangs are taking over in many places and that the deaths by overdoses of legal drugs is at an all time high? Seriously, prioritize things in your lives! Some people need to get over themselves!
5. Why can I yell until I am blue in the face and my little girls cannot figure out they don't need to use a whole roll of toilet paper? It isn't like they are flushing it, just rolling it off and leaving it on the floor for the dogs to get and tear up. I bought the GIGANTICC package last week and it was GONE in 6 days. I realize that we have 3 bathrooms and 10 people living here, but for hell sakes, must we really just roll it off on the floor for something to do? Maybe I should make them use their piggy bank money to buy some more?? What do you think, would that some kind of child abuse??
Head on over to Jaci's site and check out everyone else's internet flatulence for the week!
~The Passing of Maddie Spohr~
Mike & Heather Spohr's baby girl Maddie passed away suddenly this week. Heather was already planning to do the March of Dimes Walk for Babies so they have asked that you please don’t send flowers, but if you feel so inclined you can contribute to the March of Dimes in memory of Madeline Alice Spohr. Heather's personal goal was $3000, but this great group of bloggers (and others) have boosted her to over $21,000. AWESOME!!!
Their website states; "The Giggles Computer Funtime For Baby Software Series was created by Tim Leverett, a father who was searching for an effective and playful way to introduce his son to the computer.
Frustrated with the lack of appropriate entertainment software products for babies, he set out to create a unique key-tapping program that all parents could use to introduce their babies to the computer in an entertaining, playful, fun, and educational way.
Babies just love to touch and tap the keys on computer keyboards! The goal was to carefully craft a unique software that would let babies tap away on the keys, any key at all, and make it baby-friendly and a lot of fun to do. It had to be age-appropriate and also ease parent's minds that their computer and valuable files were safe from baby's curious fingers while they were doing it.
We've done that, and much more with Giggles Computer Funtime For Baby."
